Rental Policies & Procedures

Reserving Equipment

Reservations are strongly recommended in order to guarantee availability on the day of your event. A 20% deposit holds your reservation, with major changes or cancellations accepted up to 10 days prior to the day you will receive your equipment (excluding tents or special-order items). So reserve as early as is convenient, knowing you can easily adjust numbers if necessary down the road.

Reservation of a tent or canopy requires a 50% non-refundable deposit. Certain special order items may also require a non-refundable payment which will be specified when reserved.

In all cases, payment in full is due on the day of pick-up (or in the case of deliveries, 10 days before the delivery leaves our warehouse).

Also available for a modest fee is a damage waiver, which covers incidental damage to rental items. This waiver does not cover missing items however, so please return any broken items for credit.

Pricing and Ordering

List prices are a one-day charge, which includes a day to pick up, one day of use and a day to return, excluding Sundays and Holidays. So for a weekend event, items may be picked up on Friday and returned Monday for just the single day charge. If you wish to rent items for an extended time, please call for special rates.

All rental charges are for time out, whether used or not.

Prices are subject to change without notice; however, reservations will be honored at prices quoted.

Availability subject to quantities on hand less prior reservations.

Delivery and Pick-up

Basic delivery and pick-up is available throughout most of Pierce County and parts of south King County, Kitsap County, Thurston County, Mason County. Call to check if we can deliver to your location. Cost for delivery varies depending on location, and any delivery requires a $250 minimum rental order.

Basic delivery/pick-up is Monday through Friday, 8:30 am to 4:30 pm.

Residential delivery should be to a garage or other covered area near to truck access, with no steps or other obstacles. Commercial delivery should be to an accessible ground floor space near to truck access, also with no steps. Delivery above the first floor by elevator may be possible depending on the equipment being transported.

Basic delivery does not include setup or takedown.

We are happy to accommodate other time requirements and services at an additional charge (must be arranged for in advance with our office staff).

Returns

All items come to you clean and ready to use, and must be returned clean (except linens). Dishware and glasses need not be washed, but should be scraped or rinsed as necessary. Some items include special cleaning instructions. Failure to return items free of food will result in additional charges.

Prior to pick up or return, all equipment should be free of food and replaced in original delivery containers. Linens should be dry and refuse free to prevent mildew and staining. Tables, chairs and other rental items should be gathered in a single location for convenient pick up. Please do not use plastic bags to store used linens, as mildew can occur unexpectedly in even slightly damp linens when sealed in plastic.

Responsibility for rental items remains with the customer from delivery to return. Customers are responsible for all breakage and lost equipment including containers and rolling carts, with payment due on the return date. All items should be secured and protected from harmful weather conditions.

Linen and Skirting Policies

All linens will be inspected for damage upon return. There will be a charge for missing linens or damage such as: burns, tears, holes, candle wax and non-removable stains. Please make sure that candles, hot pans, or mirrors with sharp edges are not set in direct contact with the linens. This includes anything that is potentially damaging due to heat, melting, cutting, etc.

UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES SHOULD STAPLES BE USED ON LINENS OR SKIRTING. Staples can cause permanent damage.

Never put wet or even slightly damp linens in plastic bags, as mildew can form in minutes under these conditions.

No credit can be given for unused items. To maintain our high standard condition of rental items, any item that leaves our store is considered used and it must be inspected, sanitized, and serviced before it can be rented again.

Thank you for following our rental policies and avoiding unnecessary charges. Your assistance ensures that we can continue to provide each customer with quality rental products at a reasonable cost.
