Our Story
Originally located in Tacoma Washington, Bunce Rental started as an equipment sales business in 1946 and began renting equipment with a relatively small inventory, which included small tractors, tools and small contractor items. In time Bunce grew to the business it is today with multiple locations as well as the two independent divisions including American Party Place.
American Party Place offers rental equipment for parties, weddings and other events - from tables and chairs to tents, china, glassware and linens, as well as a range of cooking and serving items. Our inventory is always growing. Make sure to keep an eye out on our social media or our online catalog to see the new items we have!
We are based in Tacoma, Washington, and serve the Greater South Sound Region. American Party Place is dedicated to providing the best quality rentals and the best customer service.
Meet the Showroom Staff
Jayden
I am a detail oriented individual who loves to use my creative side as well. Being able to help people figure out the logistics of their event as well as put together their dream pieces is a wonderful feeling! I love being able to help in any way I can. Whether it's answering questions, talking out a client's ideas, or helping put a table together. I have not had much experience in the event industry other than in a bakery where I spent my time baking and decorating cakes and treats. Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my partner and working on new projects around the house…or eating the treats I make!
Brittany
This is my first time experiencing what the event industry is like from the inside, and I’m loving every moment of it. I enjoy being able to use my creativity to support and inspire the events our clients plan - whether that means helping bring their vision to life or offering ideas when they’re in need of guidance. There’s something truly special about being able to ease the stress of event planning and, most importantly, leave our clients with a sense of relief and a smile.

Being new to the event industry hasn’t stopped me from loving it! I enjoy helping bring our clients' visions to life on our showroom tables, as well as creating a sense of calm as we navigate our appointments together and find the perfect pieces for their event. I truly enjoy experimenting and creating different looks tailored to each client's desires and personal style, making every appointment truly unique. I love being able to talk and get to know each client well so I can help them to the best of my ability.

I initially fell in love with the hospitality industry 14 years ago where I discovered the joy of creating memorable experiences for others. That passion led me to pursue a Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Business, during which I gained hands-on experience working at festivals and large-scale events. Through my journey into the event rental business I quickly realized it was the perfect blend of logistics, creativity, and service. What started as a new opportunity turned into a passion. Now, I get to combine my love for hospitality with my passion for helping others bring their events to life.
